To Measure the Sky
For Jennifer Smieja’s debut album, To Measure the Sky, the goal was to capture both the natural spirit of Oregon and the emotional journey of healing. The question at the heart of the design—how does one measure the sky?—inspired a surreal cover: a head lost in clouds, releasing animals as symbols of thought and feeling taking flight. The result is an image that feels both rooted in the landscape and expansive in its metaphor, balancing place with inner reflection.
